The Small Business Center at Catawba Valley Community College (CVCC) has announced the launch of new office hours at the CVCC Alexander County campus. This expansion brings invaluable resources closer to local entrepreneurs and small business owners.

“We’re excited to provide services locally to Alexander County businesses,” said Chris Reese, Director of the Small Business Center. “This initiative will strengthen small business development and open doors for training opportunities that benefit all citizens of Alexander County.”

The Small Business Center (SBC) offers confidential, no-cost business counseling tailored to the needs of start-ups and small business owners.

Key areas of support include:

• Sales and revenue strategies

• Marketing and branding

• Social media and website optimization

• Funding sources and grant opportunities

Starting on February 5, the Alexander County office will be open on the first and third Wednesdays of each month, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the CVCC Alexander Applied Technologies Center (230 Industrial Blvd, Taylorsville).

Clients can schedule appointments in advance by calling (828) 327-7000 ext. 4117, but walk-ins are welcome during office hours if an opening is available.
