Due to the forecast of wintry weather, Alexander County Government offices will open at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, January 8, if conditions allow. Rocky Face Park is also scheduled to open at 12:00. The landfill and convenience sites will operate on a regular schedule.
With the forecast of snow, citizens are advised to stay home if possible or use extreme caution if travel is necessary.
