Cougars Win At Watauga

Varsity Men

The Cougars trailed at half 39-33 but roared to the win shooting a blistering 72 percent after the break. Jem Lowrance led AC with 22 points and 10 rebounds. He went 10 for 11 from the free throw line, overall the Cougars were 31 for 38 at the charity stripe. Alexander Central is 2-0 in Northwestern Conference play and 9-3 overall.

The Lady Pioneers dominated by jumping out to a 27-4 lead at the end of the first quarter. AC was led by Lanie Hammer with 6 points. The Lady Cougars fall to 0-2 in conference play and 1-11 overall.
