Lenoir: Laney Wike pitched a 2 hit shutout for Alexander Central and the Lady Cougars pounded out 15 hits in a rout on Tuesday.
Wike shined at the plate as well going 2-3 with 3 runs batted in. Kensley Davis was 4 of 4 with 2 rbi, Lainey Russell drove in a pair with a homer. Kirstyn Herman went 3 of 3 with a rbi and Jenna Mason had a two-run double.
ACHS is now 16-3 and 7-2 in Northwestern Conference action.
