Cougar Men Stay Perfect In League Play

Games Played Friday Night in Taylorsville:

Varsity Men

Alexander Central 60
McDowell 48

The Cougars stormed out to a 13 point halftime lead but McDowell pulled even after three quarters. AC outscored the visitors 20-8 in the fourth period and remain undefeated in conference play at 4-0, 11-3 overall. Jem Lowrance led the Cougars with 19 points, Zach Wooten had 11.

The third quarter was crucial for the Lady Titans as they outscored ACHS 14-4. Nikki Hagy Led the Lady Cougars with 14 points and 10 rebounds. AC falls to 0-4 in league play and 1-13 overall.
