Cougar Basketball Sweeps West Wilkes

Alexander Central swept 4 basketball games Friday evening at West Wilkes.

Varsity Women

Alexander Central 60
West Wilkes 27

The Lady Cougars routed the Black Hawks after a sluggish start. Up only 12-11 after the first quarter the vistors led 30-18 at the half. Chesney Stikeleather went 12 for 17 shooting and 25 points. AC is 4-0 on the season.

Varsity Men

West Wilkes 40

The Cougars win their third game in a row in Millers Creek Friday night. Grayson Presnell led the Blue and Gold with 17. He went 6 for 7 including 5 for 5 from behind the three point arc. Dusty Sigmon had 11 points and 10 rebounds, Evan Presnell added 10. Grove Lowrance had 8 points and 13 boards. The Cougars are 3-1
