Cougar Baseball Falls On The Road Saturday

Sanford: Alexander Central made the long trek to Lee County on Saturday and lost their first game of the season. The game featured father versus son from the dugouts. The Cougars coached by Pete Hardee and Lee County led by his son Dalton. The Yellow Jackets pounded-out 20 hits and led 9-5 going to the 7th inning when AC almost made a complete comeback scoring three times. 2B Graham Hoke went 3-5 with 3 runs batted-in for the Cougars who fall to 2-1. Lee County is 3-0.
