McDowell defeated Alexander Central in the Cougars home opener on Friday at Bob Gryder Stadium. The Titans got the win despite getting only 1 hit.
Alexander Central managed only 4 hits themselves and committed 3 costly errors as three of the four Titan runs were unearned. JD Little took tough-luck loss allowing all 4 McDowell runs. He led the Cougars at the plate going 2-3. Mason Chapman-Mays had the lone AC rbi. Alexander Central falls to 0-2 on the season.
