Cougar Baseball Beaten By South Caldwell

Alexander Central’s early season woes continued on Thursday with a 4-1 loss at South Caldwell.

The Cougars scored a run to take the lead in the top of the 1st inning when pitcher Caleb Williams doubled in Mason Chapman-Mays. South Caldwell evened the score in the bottom half of the inning. The Spartans would add a pair of runs in the 3rd and a single tally in the 4th.

Ryan Parrish got the win going the distance for South Caldwell allowing 1 run on 6 hits. The Spartans would have only 3 hits compared to AC’s 6. Caleb Williams took the mound loss for the Cougars going 5.2 innings, 4 runs (3 earned).

The Cougars fall to 1-4
