On Sunday, February 9th, the Hickory Police Department arrested Megan Gail Shook, age 29 of Conover. She is charged with two-counts of assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill or inflict serious injury. Shook is being held in the Catawba County Detention Center without bond and is scheduled for an initial court appearance today in Newton.
