47-year old Kristy Diane Hughes of Conover is being held in the Alexander County Detention Center. She was taken into custody by Wednesday evening and charged with failure to appear for possession of drug paraphernalia and a Surry County failure to appear charge for larceny and resisting a public officer. Bond is set at $11,500.
