Conover Man Jailed On Stolen Vehicle Charges

27-year-old Anton Delrico Harris of Conover was arrested Wednesday on charges filed by the Catawba County Sheriff’s Office and Conover Police Department. The Sheriff’s Office charged Harris with two counts of larceny of a motor vehicle. Conover Police charged the suspect with larceny of a motor vehicle, break or enter a motor vehicle, felony larceny, possession of a stolen automobile, resisting a public officer, simple possession of schedule VI controlled substance, misdemeanor larceny, driving while license revoked, and failure to report accident.

Harris was jailed in the Catawba County Detention Facility under $55,500 bond. District Court appearances were scheduled for today (September 1), Friday (September 2), and October 3.
