Conover Man Facing Charges In Alexander County

The Alexander County Sheriff’s Office arrested 20-year old David Austin Cook of Conover on Wednesday and charged him with felony identity theft. He was also served with a warrant from Iredell County for failure to appear. Cook was placed in the Alexander County Detention Center under a secured bond of $13,000. A February 8th court date is scheduled in Alexander County District Court.

Cook also has pending charges in Catawba County for felony financial card theft and felony financial card fraud.
