Conover Man Charged With Vehicle Larceny In Alexander County

38-year-old Brandon Scott Hicks of Conover was arrested Friday (October 17) by Hickory Police Officers. He’s charged with larceny of a motor vehicle in Alexander County and possession of a firearm by a felon in Catawba County.

Hicks is a convicted felon as the result of a conviction in March, 2023 in Catawba County for possession of schedule II controlled substance. Following Friday’s arrest, Hicks was jailed in the Catawba County Detention Facility under $18,500 bond. District Court dates were scheduled for Monday (October 20) in Alexander and Catawba Counties.
