Conover Man Charged With Kidnapping, Robbery With Dangerous Weapon

37-year-old Dustin Neal Cooke of Conover was arrested on Wednesday by Catawba County Sheriff’s Deputies. He’s charged on bills of indictment for second-degree kidnapping, first-degree burglary, and robbery with a dangerous weapon. Cooke was placed in the Catawba County Detention Facility under $55,000 bond. A Superior Court appearance is scheduled Thursday.
