Conover Man And Taylorsville Woman Busted For Trafficking Meth

A Conover man and a Taylorsville woman are facing felony drug charges related to trafficking methamphetamine.

On Thursday the Catawba County Sheriff’s Office arrested the couple after they were found to be in possession of 28 grams of meth:

Kyle Damian Wilson, 35, of Red Tail Dr, Conover, is charged with

Felony trafficking methamphetamine ( 2 counts)
Possession of drug paraphernalia
Resisting public officer

Wilson is being held in the Catawba County Jail under a secured bond of $500,000.

Shayla McKenzie Wynn, 24, Hunters Ridge RD, Taylorsville is charged with

Felony conspire to traffic methamphetamine (2 counts)

Following a first appearance in court on Friday, Wynn is being held in the Catawba County Jail under a secured bond of $50,000.
