ALEXANDER COUNTY, NC (February 19, 2019) – In conjunction with the Alexander County Economic Development Corporation (EDC), members of the Alexander County Board of Commissioners are touring local industries throughout 2019 to learn more about the companies, their success stories, and their needs.
On February 18th, Commission Vice Chairman Ronnie Reese, Commissioner Marty Pennell, County Manager Rick French, EDC Executive Director David Icenhour, and EDPNC Industry Regional Manager Bill Slagle visited Paladin Furniture in Hiddenite to speak with the company’s founders, Tim and Elaine Bolick.
Paladin Furniture was established on January 1, 2002. The company, which currently has 110 employees, had been a dream of the husband and wife team for many years. Mr. Bolick said that business is good, and he looks forward to many more years of success in Alexander County.
