37-year old Joseph Dale Jones of Claremont was arrested Thursday by the Catawba County Sheriff’s Office. He was charged with felony possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. Jones is being held in the Catawba County Detention Center with a secured bond of $11,000. A court appearance is scheduled for today in Newton.
