51-year-old Brian Blake Blackburn of Claremont was arrested Monday, June 24 by Catawba County Sheriff’s Officers. He’s charged with felony counts of flee to elude arrest with a motor vehicle, possession with intent to manufacture, sell, and deliver methamphetamine, attempted trafficking in meth by possession, maintaining a vehicle, dwelling or place for controlled substance, and probation violation. He’s also charged with misdemeanor counts of injury to personal property, resisting a public officer, and possession of drug paraphernalia, along with traffic counts.
Blackburn was jailed in the Catawba County Detention Facility under $123,500 bond. A District Court date is scheduled for July 15, a Superior Court appearance is set for August 5.
