The City of Hickory will close a section of 13th Avenue NE between the Wendy’s and Chick-fil-A restaurants on NC 127 tonight. Beginning at 8pm, the roadway will be closed for approximately 6-8 hours to allow crews to make emergency repairs to an underground water main. Detour routes will be established and clearly marked.
