49-year old Jeffery Ray Minton of Taylorsville was arrested on Wednesday, December 2nd by Taylorsville Police. He was charged with simple assault and communicating threats. Minton was placed in the Alexander County Detention Center with a secured bond of $1,500. A court appearance is scheduled for Monday, December 7th.
