Charges Filed Against Taylorsville Man

Brian Eugene Gant, age 56, Liberty Church RD., Taylorsville, was detained on Monday by Alexander County Sheriff’s Office Deputies. He’s charged with second-degree trespass and communicating threats. The suspect is being held without bond in the county detention center.

Gant has lengthy criminal history and has pending charges from 2025 that include felony possession of methamphetamine, felony maintaining a vehicle/dwelling/ place for controlled substance, breaking and entering, second-degree trespass and resisting arrest.
