Charges Filed Against Stony Point Woman

Cassandra Ann Barrera, age 26 of Stony Point, was arrested on Tuesday and charged with probation violations in both Iredell and Alexander Counties. As of earlier today, she remained in the custody of the Alexander County Detention Center under a secured bond of $15,000. Barrera is scheduled to appear in Alexander County District Court on August 7th.

Pending charges against Barrera are awaiting trial in Iredell County for felony trafficking opium or heroin, felony possession of controlled substance on jail premises and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.
