Today is National Signing Day for college football recruits. Lenoir-Rhyne University got themselves a “Nasty” Bear Wednesday morning. Alexander Central Senior Isaac Chapman signed his National Letter of Intent to play for the Bears beginning this fall. Chapman, a standout for the Cougars was named the Northwestern Conference Defensive Player of the Year in both his junior and senior seasons. He played in the 2018 Shrine Bowl of the Carolinas and was also selected to play in the Blue-Gray High School Classic in Tampa, Florida.
