Greensboro: Alexander Central Wrestler Isaac Chapman fell just short of winning his second straight 3A state championship Saturday. The Senior lost to undefeated Antwon McClee of Gastonia Ashbrook in the 285 pound championship bout by fall. Chapman finished the season with a record of 30-3.
Chapman a standout football player will attend Lenoir-Rhyne in the Fall and play for the Bears.
