A woman killed in a Catawba County house fire last week has been identified.
74-year old Hope Chesko died in a fire at her home in Claremont on Friday, December 6th. Units responded to the residence around 3am on Deal Road.
The Catawba County Fire Marshal’s Office has ruled the fire as accidental and caused by a wood stove.
