Aaron Lavito Linebarger
Aaron Lavito Linebarger, age 40, pleaded guilty to voluntary manslaughter in the death of 68-year-old Euphagenia Williams. Linebarger entered the plea in Catawba County Superior Court. Linebarger will serve a sentence of up to 6 years.
The shooting happened at a home on Cheyenne Oaks Drive in Claremont shortly before 1 a.m. on June 14, 2022. Linebarger was one of the four people shot at the Claremont home. Euphagenia Williams was found dead at the home according to the Catawba County Sheriff’s Office. Linebarger called 911 and claimed he had been shot in self defense.
