Catawba County Man Busted On Felony Fentanyl Charge

34-year-old Joseph Daniel Klein is facing drug-related charges in Iredell County following an arrest by the Catawba County Sheriff’s Office. Klein, a resident of Sherrills Ford, was charged with possession of fentanyl, possession of drug paraphernalia, and altering, stealing or destroying criminal evidence.

Court records state that Klein was allegedly in possession of fentanyl on October 30 and they also state he unlawfully, willfully, and feloniously did alter or destroy evidence, being fentanyl, in an orange syringe cap. Klein is scheduled to appear in Iredell County Superior Court November 16.
