Isaac Carillo, age 22, of Charlotte, was arrested Wednesday by the Catawba County Sheriff’s Office and charged with felony statutory rape and felony sex-offense with a child 15 or younger. Carillo is being held without a bond in the Catawba County Jail and is scheduled to appear in district court in Newton on Thursday.
