30-year-old Jessika Alexander Ampie of Benfield Drive in Sawmills was arrested Monday by Catawba County Sheriff’s Officers. She’s charged with possession of fentanyl, assault with a deadly weapon, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Ampie was incarcerated in the Catawba County Detention Facility under $21,000 bond. A District Court date is scheduled for October 21, a Superior Court appearance is set for November 4.
