The Caldwell County Sheriff’s Office is conducting a death investigation after a deceased individual was located inside a residence in the Charlie Little Rd area in the Dudley Shoals community. The Caldwell County 911 Communications Center was contacted on Saturday, December 27*h, at approximately 3:15pm and notified of a deceased person at the location.
At this time the victim has not been positively identified and the cause of death remains undetermined. Caldwell County Sheriff’s Office Detectives are actively investigating the incident and are working in coordination with the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation and the North Carolina Office of the Chief Medical Examiner. The investigation remains ongoing.
