Authorities Caldwell County continue to search for a man who was last seen on Thursday, April 11th.
Michael Hallford, age 44, went fishing off Brown Mountain Beach Road and hasn’t been seen since. His car was found by a nearby creek. The area saw the water rise quickly last Thursday following a series of storms.
The Caldwell County Sheriff’s Office says they are treating the disappearance as a missing person case. The department has searched the area along with a large number of other agencies and volunteers.
