48-year-old Paul Eugene Morgan was arrested Sunday by authorities in Burke County. He’s charged with felony counts of kidnapping and breaking and entering into a house of worship. Morgan was arrested shortly before 11 a.m. Sunday and placed in jail in Morganton where he was being held without bond as of Monday. A District Court date is scheduled for January 3.
