35-year-old Brian Copeland Deal of Baird Street in Valdese was arrested Saturday, December 14th by authorities in Burke County. He’s charged with two counts of indecent liberties with a child. Following the arrest, Copeland was jailed in the Catawba County Detention Facility without bond. A Burke County District Court appearance was scheduled today.
