The Burke County Fire Marshall’s Office and Burke County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal fire. The blaze consumed a home on Peeler Street in Drexel Wednesday morning.
The victim has not been identified but media reports indicate the deceased is a female in her 20’s.
