Brzykcy Wins Another Game In The Minors

Alexander Central alum Zach Brzykcy has earned his 3rd win pitching for the Wilmingtpn, Deleware Blue Rocks. Brzykcy pitched 3 innings of relief on Sunday as Wilmington beat the Jersey Shore Blue Claws 5-0 in a High A Eastern League. Zach allowed 0 runs, 1 hit, 2 strikeouts, 0 walks to earn the win. He is now 3-2 on the season.

Brzykcy was the Conference Pitcher of the Year in 2017 for Alexander Central. He attended Virginia Tech University and was the bullpen closer for the Hokies before signing as a free agent with the Washington Nationals.
