December 5, 2022 By Richard C. Gilbert

VALE – The N.C. Department of Transportation has temporarily closed Lynn Mountain Road at the bridge near Gracie Lane in Catawba County.

Crews will perform maintenance on the bridge, which is scheduled to reopen Dec. 22.

The detour will take drivers from Lynn Mountain Road to N.C. 10, to Rhoney Farm Road, and then back to Lynn Mountain Road.

Motorists are reminded to slow down and use caution when approaching the work-zone and detour.

For real-time travel information, visit DriveNC.gov or follow NCDOT on social media.
