One person is dead as the result of an overnight shooting in Eastern Alexander County. Sheriff Chad Pennell has confirmed that one victim is deceased from a gunshot wound.
The man alleged to have fired the fatal shot is being treated for a gunshot wound at a regional medical facility.
A third person who was allegedly involved is in custody.
The incident was reported around 11pm on Fairmont CT in Stony Point.
