**Breaking News** Man In U.S. Illegally Has Been Charged With Rape In Alexander County

A man has been charged with rape in Alexander County.

On Tuesday, May 12th, Alexander County Sheriff’s Office Deputies arrested 40-year-old Antonio De Lopez-Pedron of Forest City. He is charged with second-degree rape. The suspect is being held in the Alexander County Detention Center without bond.

According to arrest documents, Lopez-Pedron is in the United States illegally. The Department of Homeland Security has placed an ICE Detainer on the suspect.
