On Tuesday, February 20th, Alexander County Register of Deeds Scott H. Hines administered the oath of office to his new Assistant Register of Deeds, Joshua Bowman.
Bowman is taking on the Assistant Register of Deeds (RoD) position that will make him responsible for managing the office and serves as the staff-in-charge in lieu of the Register of Deeds when Mr. Hines is not available. During Mr. Bowman’s tenure as a Deputy Register, he recorded and/or oversaw more than 18,000 transactions including over 7,500 deeds and other related legal documents for Alexander County citizens. Additionally, Josh distinguished himself in the Basic Register of Deeds Course at the University of North Carolina School of Government with a 100% score on the final exam.
Joshua is married to Mrs. Rosie Bowman and they have a son named Cooper. Josh’s parents are his mother Ms. Sharon Daniels of Taylorsville and his father Mr. Jeff Bowman of Conover.
