A body has been identified after being found on December 21st in Wilkes County.
The Wilkes Sheriff’s Office on Monday identified the person found off Parks Ridge Road in the Fishing Creek community east of North Wilkesboro, as 36-year old Laura Cole of North Wilkesboro.
The preliminary autopsy didn’t provide a final determination of the cause of death but foul play is not suspected.
