Alexander Central’s Jayon Conor set the all-time scoring record with 89 points in three-games and was named Tournament MVP but his 26 on Monday wasn’t enough to get the Cougars a win for 5th place. Newton-Conover (6-4) was led by Bryce Mitchell with 16.
Hickory’s Men won the Championship with a 89-75 victory over South Caldwell.
