Back In Jail Again For Taylorsville Man

October 20, 2021 By Richard C. Gilbert

Justin Nathaniel Helton

A Taylorsville man is in jail for the second time in less than a week, this time he’s charged with the theft of a motor vehicle.

Alexander County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested 26-year old Justin Nathaniel Helton on Tuesday and charged him with felony theft of a motor vehicle. He was also cited for probation violations, the same charges that landed him in jail last Thursday. Investigators identified Helton on video after a vehicle was stolen in the Wittenburg Community over the weekend. Helton is being held in the Alexander County Detention Center with a secured bond of $20,000. He is scheduled to appear in district court on Monday, October 25th in Tayorsville.
