Another arrest involving methamphetamine. The Catawba County Sheriff’s Office arrested Daniel Austin Rhoney, age 22 of Newton, on Wednesday. Rhoney was charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond was confined in the Catawba County Detention Center under a secured bond of $15,000. He is scheduled to appear in court today.
