Another armed robbery overnight in Catawba County. A man entered a CVS Pharmacy on Highway 127 in the Mountain View Community shortly before 9pm Friday. The suspect implied he had a weapon and demanded money. The man fled in a vehicle and was captured following a chase that ended in Cleveland County. This is the second armed robbery in less than 24 hours in Catawba County. A man, showing a handgun robbed a convenience store on Highway 127 North Thursday night near the Alexander County line.
