Only one new COVID-19 positive test was reported in Alexander County on Tuesday. This follows 30 new cases reported over the past weekend.
According to the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services, 4,246 cases have been counted in Alexander County since the beginning of the pandemic.
85 people have died with COVID-19 associated symptoms.
