Alexander County Woman Facing More Charges

Kisha Lashae Morgan, 34, of Taylorsville, was arrested in Alexander County on Saturday, September 13th. She was charged with four-counts of obtaining property by false pretense. She is being held without bond in the Alexander County Detention Center. A court appearance is scheduled for today.

Morgan was arrested in August following a traffic stop by the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office and charged with felony manufacture/ sell/ deliver methamphetamine, maintaining a vehicle/dwelling for controlled substance and a pair of misdemeanor counts. A series of charges are awaiting trial from 2024 that include felony trafficking methamphetamine.
