Alexander County Woman Charged After Traffic Stop

A Taylorsville woman is facing charges after a traffic stop Tuesday evening. Alexander County Deputies arrested 26-year old Kaitlyn Elizabeth Parsons and charged her with multiple traffic offenses including driving with license revoked and careless and reckless driving. She was also charged with resisting arrest and placed in the Alexander County Detention Center under a bond of $10,000. Her District Court appearance is set for August 16th.

Parsons has previous charges pending in Iredell County for possession of schedule II controlled substance, maintaining a vehicle/dwelling of place for controlled substance and possession marijuana. She is scheduled for a Statesville court appearance on August 5th.
