Payton Rose Schwantes, age 28 of Stony Point, was arrested overnight by Alexander County Sheriff’s Office Deputies and charged with a series of felony drug offenses. The charges are the result of a recent investigation by multiple agencies including Taylorsville Police. Schwantes is charged with felony trafficking methamphetamine, felony possession with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver controlled substance and felony maintaining a vehicle or place for controlled substance. She’s being held without bond and is scheduled to make a district court appearance on Monday, November 18th in Taylorsville.
