Taylorsville Police arrested Bradshaw on October 20, 2022 and charged him at the time with felony counts of trafficking methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine, and maintaining a vehicle/dwelling or place for controlled substance along with a misdemeanor count of possession of drug paraphernalia.
35-year-old Cody Wyatt Barker Shepherd of Statesville pleaded guilty to trafficking in methamphetamine and was sentenced to 70-93 months in prison and was ordered to pay a $50,000 fine.
Shepherd was placed in the Alexander County Detention Center on January 24. He was initially charged with felony counts of trafficking methamphetamine and possession with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver methamphetamine along with possession of drug paraphernalia and resisting a public officer.
Both Bradshaw and Shepherd are serving their sentences at Piedmont Correctional Institution in Salisbury.
